Some of my lady friends and I got together on Sunday for Crafternoon- an afternoon dedicated to getting together and getting crafty. We decided to start our crafty endeavor with a (we hoped) simple project- painting on tote bags. We used this basic tutorial, but none of us actually monogrammed the bags. Some ambitious folks might embroider an initial on… yikes!
The project worked out really well with our group, it was pretty simple, and I think we all had fun! The prosecco and Italian soda certainly helped the festivities. Everything tastes better in a champagne coupe! Along with all the treats everyone brought… Yum.

After the official crafting, Emily gave some crochet lessons while we all worked on various projects.

I really hope this is just the first of many crafternoons- it was loads of fun. George absented himself for the day, but maybe next time we’ll pick a craft even the guys can get behind. Any ideas, peeps?
